What is TopShelf?
TopShelf replaces star ratings with a ranked bookshelf. Instead of rating every book 4 stars, you rank books against each other through quick head-to-head matchups to build a true reflection of your taste.
How does ranking work?
After adding a book, you go through face-off rounds — picking which book you liked more. Your shelf builds organically from your favorite down to the ones that were just okay.
What is a Taste Match?
When you and another reader have ranked 3 or more of the same books, TopShelf calculates a taste match score showing how similar your reading preferences are.
Is TopShelf free?
Yes. TopShelf is completely free to use.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Settings screen within the app, or contact us at unihockey20@googlemail.com and we'll process your account deletion within 48 hours. All your data will be permanently removed.
